how can I promote my blog

    Not by posting it here... But if you're asking a serious question then this is my answer: If it has good content, people will come. Show it to a couple of friends and it should spread. Having said that, the niche for flash games is completely over saturated, so it's not really going to spread too well.

    Show it to your friends, post it up for competitions, post it as your facebook status, make a facebook page for it, give it a twitter page, etc. If you're in the position for manipulating code, then you can look up basic SEO practices on google. That will get you started.

    From experience, you can advertise your website using Facebook, Twitter, youtube, and a bunch of other social networking sites. You can also submit your blog to search engines and ping them. But you're wasting your time if the content isn't what people want. That's why from now on, I focus more on the content of my website than advertising. As George said, the number of flash game sites are over saturated. So ask yourself this, "why should people come to my site as opposed to addicting games (dot) com?

    I think running around in a public place screaming "READ MY BLOG"... Does wonders...

    You might even have t-shirts printed up and pass them all out to your friends.... Then schedule times for everyone to show up and run around screaming....

    As said above there are so many Flash Games website and it is very competitive.

    If you are serious about it then write good unique content for starters.

    Tell friends and hope it spreads. One of my first ever websites was a flash games website, I didn't really promote it at all, just told a couple of people about it at school and somehow it spread across the world. The site still isn't doing great in search engines but direct traffic is coming from somewhere..

    You are going to have a very hard time doing the SEO for a flash games website although as google is starting to really prevent black hat techniques and starting to favour good, unique content you may have a chance.
