I am a woodworker/artist/carpenter who creates and maintains websites for my family and for a gallery where I am one of the managing members.

Welcome! It's nice to see someone else who has a hat collection in here! Depending on the day, and often the time of day, I wear the hat of web designer, student, weaver, spinner, stained glass worker, and/or horse trainer.

I think you'll find a super bunch of people here - all willing to help out and answer questions, with many of us asking questions as well! Some of us get a bit cranky when folks don't follow the rules, but overall we're a pretty likeable group. I hope you'll enjoy being part of this forum!

Welcome to the community Stephen! Now a days people are doing what they can to just get by. I am a Union Journeyman Carpenter (its been more famine than feast lately), Volunteer Full time on a Congressional Campaign as the Campaign Assistant, and I do Graphics and Web design which I am still learning by self teaching.

Hi Fireproofgfx, Thanks for the welcome. From what I've seen self teaching is the only way to go although looking back on some of my earlier code I should be banned from programmer circles. You learn something new everyday whether you want to or not...
    Thanks again... Steve V.
