1. It does load quite slowly for me, simply because it's so image-heavy.
2. Good, because when I turn off CSS entirely, the page looks nearly identical. That's a bad sign because a page with CSS off should look nothing like a page with CSS on.

Re: your quote of me above, I took your hint and rewrote that entire section. It's long as hell now, but my headers:

well i thought it was a good try im deabting whether to do it or not because i still have one more website that needs to be done by the end of april....im afriad this will take me too long

In fact I think that single images load faster than many small ones.

And what I showed you was a sample of the complete markup, just minus some menu items. Incredible? Yes, that's all! (You know a page should be very small with CSS off if the actual content of that page is very small).

well im going to work on a new idea i have today, i figure since i would have to completely redo the site imight as well redesign it again...ill attach a pic in a few hours

Here's the beginnnings of my new layout...i'm going to do a kind of illustrative silhoutte around the outside of the small square....i'm not sure which layout i'll keep...the illustrative or the collage...i've gotten alot of compliments on the collage, but i might just keep it in the web section as a style. anyways....ill do all of this in css just fo you peeps
