And I wasn't telling you how to go borderless... I was telling you how to make borderless work with Netscape...

    - perhaps i meant tahoma
    - i've noticed helvetica has a slight difference in style from arial when editing the yearbook at my school
    - let me know what fonts you think I should use for title, addresses, menu, paragraph etc...

For the web, I use pretty much "arial, helvetica, sans-serif" size="2" (10pt on stylesheets) for everything these days.

Until they come out with better font rendering for browsers (i.e. sub-pixel rendering), it's the most legible font available - which means increased readership.

I will occasionally throw verdana or tahoma in the mix, but rarely, because they have poor spacing and are difficult to read.

I use mono-spaced fonts (i.e. courier) for source code views.

    That's about it on fonts.

Straight forward, man. Use what will make people read it. Black arial on white background.

Also... you're right about Helvetica... obviously it's not EXACTLY the same, but it's essentially the same font in terms of style, spacing, scale, etc. However, it's unsupported by the default Windows fonts.

I don't like the font up top, and I think the images could be a little better... Also, on the left where your links are, your headers are not beveled, and the links are. I would switch that around because I think it looks a little messed up. Thats just to my sight though.

You should only use default fonts that come installed on Windows, because that ensures that everyone will see your page the way you want them to.

I've never seen Enviro before. My only suggestion is that if you're going to use a non-standard font, provide alternates that have a similar appearance to it and make the TTF file available for download from the client machine (you might want to research javascripts or OCX's that install the fonts for you on the client).

    :)

looks good. i think the top of the menu would look good if it curved along the edge of the main logo with about a 3-5 pixel margin and cut off where the edge of the menu table is. kinda hard to explain sorry :/

LOL... I agree. I'm not sure why, though.
