    Hi all,

So I have decided to go down the road of wordpress for my portfolio site. The main reason is that I never updated my portfolio when it was all HTML ( Which I only managed due to all of your support so THANKS!!)

I am after general feed back so feel free to get picky. Im new to this and my coding is very basic but I am learning fast and im not scared to get a bit geeky on it.

In saying that I have a few concerns so your opinions would be great!

    1) The slider :
I love having the large slider on the home page to link to my portfolio pages. I dont know if I like the hover animation. I do however like the fact that it gives a description when asked for, yet does not obstruct the image other wise.

    2) The little icons that show up on the thumbnails:
I like the concept of either seeing a full size image or the full post. I get the feeling that this may confuse people though.

    3) The drop down menu:
Im not sure if the arrows that indicate drop down sections are obviouse.
Get a little scared that it seems to fall apart without JQueary. Although the target market that I am after are not likely to be turned off.

    4) colour:
Is the theme to plain, I want to make it all about the photography and not the web design. Have I gone to far though?

Nice site! By the way on the page not found message (search for something random like thkrhgjkghjkh) it says post. I would change that to resource so it doesn't feel bloggy, if you know what I mean.
I really like the jQuery-ness of it though - it's satisfying to see stuff happen when I move my mouse around!

Very nice design, layout, I see your a Bootstrapper or Skeleton - Good work! Like the responsiveness. Now you just need a decent logo ;)

It is of course a downloaded template, but a very good one and it shows off the work very well. You should try making some changes to it, I'd always think of these templates as a starting point to which you have to make your own.

I was really impressed, until Shovenose pointed out that you used a theme. Nothing wrong with using themes in Wordpress... but you didn't even try to make it unique in anyway whatsoever? C'mon dude. Still, it's a decent theme. And a well-spent $39!

I like the design, although I think the original layout is better with the search bar on the left hand side and the main menu on the right. Also the login screen is generating errors when I click on it.
