Hey, this is my first attempt at webdesign. I know it's nothing special, but gotta start somewhere. So, what do you think?
And, can you see the Japanese pages. I have had reports from people not being able to see them.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for being honest, and I agree. Definitely needs some more work. Could you tell me though which browser and version you used and whether you had any problems seeing the Japanese pages?
I get a lot of feedback from friends here in Japan saying that the Japanese pages are blank.

Something is wrong with the coding - I can't read the text on your site. However, the design is quite perfect!

Not bad. The design is pretty plain, but it's not ugly.

The design is very standard, I like it though, you could perhaps put a bigger logo in the center of the page, maybe faded in a little. Just something to fill that space a bit, overall it does have a decent eye appeal.
And the Japanese pages seemed to work for me, FireFox 3.6 PC.

Good job!

It isn't bad but you could do more to make it look better visually. It's not wrong but it's using the very old method of laying out a site using tables you should use CSS, you can probably have alot less code w/o all the empty table cells. there's a ton of tutorials on how to make your site using css. Also check out the Firefox Firebug plug in it'll help w/ the CSS if you're not too familiar.
