It's a very basic looking site, I don't really like the color scheme. Maybe want to add some graphics to your header instead of just being plain text. To me it looks like an older style site, if you figure you can get a pretty decent looking template for 60 bucks or less I'd say you need to put more work into it make it look nice otherwise they have free templates that have this same look.

Hallo! The arrangement of your site is OK, but what concerns the coloration - I think it should be improved, because green and violet don't match each other at all. Or just use dark emerald instead of green - it will look more attractive then.

I like your website. Considering your age I would say a great Job done. The colour combination or the contrast needs to be checked again. The use of green and violet colour is very unusual. Grafics require improvement.

Thanks guys,
I showed them a medium dark blue, with White, Black....
but they liked the green/violet.
All the pictures came from their current site.
this is their current site, http://www.newbornsinneed.com/
its really hard to navigate. ( i think)

You could use a different color on your navigation buttons. The black on purple is not good.
You also need to center the page.

This is coming from a 14 year old:
Your site is ok
The colour scheme is not good.
The background looks like you took a picture of suede material and zoomed in 100 times on it.
I am getting a horizontal scroll bar on my 1028x768 screen resolution which is the most common screen resolution.
Also center your page using css.
There are many more points of advice I could offer you.
Overall, assuming your were employed to provide a better site than their current one, you have not suceeded with your current design. The dropdown menu is a good idea but the color scheme used to implement it is not good.
Hope this helps and I hope I havent been too critical.
Please review my site which is in the forums here too.
Thanks.

Not sure if you're still following this thread but I see you have done some work on the website.
But it's a premade template site from CSS Sculptor.
A good idea but you are sort of cheating.
You'll only get better by writing your own codes.

Also get rid of picoearch. If you are planning on using a web based search provider instead of a php script use freefind, much better and doesn't require an image bedside the search box.

Don't take the following as a judgement of you or your work. The current site is vastly superior. If you have some connection to the owners and pressure them into using your work because of relationship, you will be doing them a great disservice.

I applaud your effort. Keep it up and you'll make a really good web designer some day. I think you're a little premature thinking about charging though. Focus on learning and improving your skills. The money will be there eventually.

Ok, I just spent some time actually navigating the existing site.

It's a nightmare.

You should focus on revising the navigation to be a javascript multi-level drop down. That would be a huge improvement.

The rest of your efforts are not helping them much.
