Zampiva.com - Collectible Porcelain Figurines

http://www.zampiva.com/

So we're wrapping up this Magento site for a client who sells collectible porcelain figures.

I'm mostly happy with the design, but I thought I'd ask for feedback and see if anyone has any ideas to improve it.

Thanks!

Dorky will become famous soon enough
it's not always self evident that the logo is the home button.

I gotta agree, the home button seems to be fading away, and I don't understand why. It doesn't take up much space!

Steve, The text and headings look fuzzy and jagged on the home page in the hot collectables section. (ff2), it looks like the jpg's need to be resized to normal dimensions.

Also, I always like to see a tagline or some kinda "one liner" that sums up the site contents at a glance.

Other than that, sweet as usual.

Thanks guys.

Aero, I made the text in the jpegs with no anti-aliasing so it looks like web content. In retrospect, I'm not sure why I did that.

I've never seen a website with such subject in the Internet! I like your idea, but what concerns the design... try to be brave enough to verify the color scheme with some additional bright colors and tints - they won't be superfluous in the design of the website which is dedicated to dolls!

Hi, I like the website alot - the design is simple and eay to use, I agree with the above comments about Logo linking to home page, why not simply add a home page button on the top nav - you have the space. the page titles could also be improved form an SEO perspective. For example: http://www.zampiva.com/index.php/ladies.html - the page title for this page says "ladies" which is not the best for SEO, would be better to use "porcelain ladies doll". Also on the page you are using the H1 tag incorrectly in my opinion. The H1 should be unqiue to each page and used to describe the content of that page, at present it is being used on your logo. Overall the site is looking very good so well done....
